Indians believe that your spiritual journey is incomplete without doing the CharDham Yatra. The spiritually glorified CharDham Yatra includes Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri temples. The CharDham Yatra of 2024 will commence in a month’s time, and so its Registrations have started (will open for all on 15th April 2024 ). It is compulsory to register for the CharDham Yatra if you are planning to visit individually or with family and friends. You can go for online or offline registrations.

The CharDham (Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri) yatra registration opening date is 15th April 2024. Thus, registrations will start soon so you can register online for yourself, family, friends, or anyone accompanying you in the CharDham yatra.

How to register for CharDham (Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri) yatra Online 2024?

Below are the steps to register for CharDham (Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri) yatra 2024 Online. Besides, you can also follow the registration process on the Tourist Care Uttarakhand mobile app (Android & iOS). There is also WhatsApp registration available on 8394833833 by sending ‘Yatra’ to start the process. One more option is via calling the toll-free number 01351364.

  1. Visit Uttarakhand’s official CharDham Yatra Registration page.
  2. Select Indian pilgrim (if Indian/Foreign option given)
  3. Select from Tour Operator/Individual/Family (if this option doesn’t show then refresh the page)
  4. Enter your name, mobile number, create a password for login, and sign up.
  5. Verify OTP
  6. Now, on the right hand side, sign-in via mobile number, password, and captcha.
  7. Select ‘Registration for Tour’
  8. Select Chardham/Religious tour type
  9. Select Tour Duration (date of entering and exiting the state). Make a note that Duration cannot exceed 15 days.
  10. You will get the list of available dates. If your selected dates are in green then they are available. Check and close the window.
  11. Enter the number of tourists (including you). Max 6 people can be registered at a time.
  12. Select Mode of Travel from Road, Helicopter (can book via IRCTC), or Walking
  13. Select Destination, and add all the 4 dhams. The ideal route is Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Hemkund Sahib. Yamunotri will be your start date (date which you entered in the 9th step above) and Gangotri will be the next day. Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Hemkund Sahib will follow a 2-day gap on selecting next days. Below is an example:-

14. Click on ‘Save’ and move to the next step

15. Enter your full name (as mentioned in ID proof), age, gender, email, and mobile number (confirm for WhatsApp).

16. Now, enter your Aadhar Card number, Country, Address, City, District, and State.

17. Give an emergency contact number, name, and relation. This person should be the one who will not accompany you in the chardham yatra.

18. If you are a Doctor then confirm

19. Select mode of travel from Bus, Private Car, Taxi, or Two-Wheeler (these options will come if you had selected ‘by road’ travel in step 12 above).

20. Select medical condition (if any)

21. Enter driver name and vehicle number

22. Upload your passport size photo and an ID proof (Passport/PAN Card/Voter ID/Aadhar Card). You can even capture instantly and upload.

23. Select if you are Covid-19 vaccinated (optional)

24. Agree to T&Cs and Save. That’s it! Your online registration for CharDham (Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri) yatra is done successfully.

25. Click ‘OK’ and select ‘Dashboard’ from left side menu options

26. Select ‘Download Registration Letter & Certificate’

27. Download PDF and check all your details. You need to show this Registration Letter & Certificate (digital/physical copy) at the dham along with ID proof to Collect Dham Darshan Slot Token. Officials will scan the QR code on your Registration Letter & Certificate to complete the process.

You will also Receive a URN (unique registration number) confirmation through SMS on your registered mobile number. However, carrying the Registration Letter is mandatory.

How to register for CharDham yatra Offline 2024?

For CharDham yatra Offline registration, firstly visit designated offline registration counters. These are located at various points along the Char Dham Yatra route. Then, Fill the registration form with personal and yatra details. Lastly, submit xerox copies of valid ID proofs and a passport size photo. Finally, you will Receive a confirmation slip or card as proof of registration. However, It is better to go for online registration to skip queues, physical form filling hassles, and get faster processing.

Badrinath yatra will start from 12th May 2024

Yamunotri yatra opening date 2024
